Linkin Park "Valentine's Day" Wallpaper Speedpaint
Hello everyone!
Well, it's Valentines Day. And to celebrate, I made this.
I WAS going to record a cover of the same song, "Valentine's Day" by Linkin Park, but when I contacted Universal Music Publishing (UMPG) about getting permission to go ahead with the cover, and also when I said in the message about doing it for NON-PROFIT use only, they came back with a quote for AU$500 + GST. In other words, they wanted about AU$550 to get a 12-month license to record the cover legally, and even then, they would've had to send it off to the Universal Music Publishing in USA for consideration, so if it was denied, that's $550 down the drain. And as you might know, I'm only a high school student, so trying to get $550 together is very hard.
Anyways, enough of my rant, onto the slightly more exciting stuff! :D

SOURCE PICTURES:
Linkin Park Logo:
Background Textures:
Programs used:
Adobe Photoshop CC
Fraps
Sony Vegas Pro 12
Time spent: ~45 minutes (shortened down to around 6 and a half minutes)
Songs (in order):
[Latin Industries - Kevin MacLeod] -
[Moonlight Sonata - composed by Ludwig Van Beethoven, arranged by Roberto McCausland-Dieppa] -
[Crazy Motorcycle Chase (Metal Cover) - ArtificialFear] -
By the way, I chose Moonlight Sonata as the background music, becuase I felt it sounded "Valentines-y" enough to be in a Valentine's Day speedpaint. :D
I also did it because I thought it would be royalty-free, but obviously, YOUTUBE with its COPYRIGHT SYSTEM said that "my video may include music that is owned by a third party."
...Seriously?
