Born 1980 Something - The Millennial Shift

In the series, we follow a creative generation that went against the community and their parents to follow their dreams. The series depicts a Sweden in transition.

It depicts the new generation of workers as preferring to become musicians than to stand plodding at the steelworks.

We go behind the scenes with mostly unknown artists, musicians, filmmakers, etc, who all have parents who grew up in another time, when the people rather worked in the steel industry than become artists.

It is in many ways a forgotten creative generation which had to go against society and their own parents who grew up in a completely different time.

Making your first feature documentary is hard, and it's a process that you rarely get a close look at. This is why I decided to start documenting my own struggle as a filmmaker.

About three years ago I started working on my debut feature doc called The Pearl Of Africa. Making it seems to be impossible, which I why I decided to create a Vlog about my struggle to make the film.
