There are certain times in our lives that make us wonder what are we doing here on Earth. We begin to seek purpose in our lives and we begin to seek the meaning of our lives. So, to make sure that you have your priorities straight and your calling found, here are ways to clear the path.
You can reflect on yourself through writing down a journal or a blog if you are a tech savvy person. Write down the things that made you happy each day and which ones make you feel sad. Focus on what makes you happy day in and day out and do it when you are sad.
We all tend to look at the bigger picture in life just like wanting to be on that next plane towards a tropical island but what we tend to overlook are the little things that life has to offer. Things like your morning coffee or that little ray of sunlight on a cloudy day that gives you hope that it will not rain.
Engage yourself in the things that you do in life. You will find out that time flies so fast when you concentrate on the things that matter the most and the things that you focus on. Make sure that you do the same on every task that is handed to you.
Find that inner drive within yourself to seek purpose even on just a daily basis. When you wake up in the morning, you might end up asking yourself what are you going to do today and you answer go to work and then go home and sleep. Try throwing things up in the air and see what happens.
Volunteer at a community group that helps others especially children. If you are not fond of children then you can try the elderly or the unfortunate ones. Teach them the value of life and help them get back on their feet.
Organize a group that will help people who are troubled or traumatized. Be an example to others that you are a person whom everyone can go to in times of trouble. You can then gather people who have enough experience in life to help those who are in trouble.
Try and fail. But the best thing about it is that you have tried your best to attain every inch of your goal. It does not matter if you fail all because you can try again and this time, make it worthwhile and reach your goal.
