Spanish Tips 101 - 3 Tips to Help You Learn Spanish When Reading

[ad_1]

When you are learning Spanish, it is crucial to understand the sentences and learn how to read as well. It is not enough to know how to converse with Spanish but comprehension and reading are also important factors that you need to consider. A lot of people complain that it takes too long to piece out the sentences together especially ones with the right grammatical construction.

However, you could learn some simple tips to learn Spanish when you are reading.

1 - Read the entire paragraph, chapter or story without using any tool to let you translate any word that you might find vague or unlearned yet. It may sound too difficult but only at the beginning. You will feel like you do not understand a single thing but it is not about understanding everything. It is about knowing what was being said in that particular paragraph or chapter.

2 - After you are done reading the entire paragraph, chapter or story, you can now read it again using a dictionary to understand specific words. Do not go overboard as to translate word for word. Translating two to three words in a sentence will actually give you an idea what the sentence is all about. It is not necessary to translate the entire sentence construction.

3 - Read the paragraph, chapter or story for the third time and this time use the dictionary sparingly. You need to be able to piece together the thoughts and idea of the selection without having to rely on translation. It is a great way to learn Spanish when reading.
