Not only do you have a crave but now you have become obsessed with food and all you can think about is food. Your mother's favorite dish that only she makes so well.
Aunt Sally's famous cheesecake with that great topping and you just can not get that picture out of your head. But that is not the worst of this saga; if you close your eyes you can almost taste that delectable food in your mouth. You are now fully obsessed with food.
You are now in a heighten food craving and now you can reason with your self why you should not be on a diet and tell yourself that these diets do not work anyway. Once you do this then you are on your way to quitting your diet plan.
The resolution to this thinking about going on a diet is that you never go on a diet; you have just decided to stop eating certain foods. You are always in control of going back to eat them, you have just chosen not to eat them.
If you notice that you start craving a particular food, go ahead and have some of it but do so after you have eaten and almost full. This will cause you to eat less of your obsessed food and even though it might taste great you will not have much room for it so you will not be able to eat much of it.
