Vlogging with the DJI Osmo Mobile + ProCam App

[ad_1]

Vlogging on the iPhone 7 with ProCam App and the DJI Osmo Mobile?
Yep. That’s the way we will vlog on our Iceland trip this month. The iPhone 7 brings incredible 4K quality and with an app like ProCam which I use or FILMiC Pro you got a ton of settings to choose from and an portable filmmaking setup. To get the best quality you can use 4K max Video on ProCam which gives you an up to 100Mbit 4K file. I also got my hands on the DJI Osmo Mobile and it works great with the two mentioned third-party-apps. Some people complain about a jitter effect and micro vibrations when using an iOS device with the Osmo so try to turn off all stabilization or use 4K max on ProCam 4 which disables OIS completely.

What I really like about the app is that it also supports RAW Photos with full manual control over exposure, AF, shutter and WB.
Nice to have a small piece of gear like this with you all the time!

On the Iceland Vlog I will show you some more about how I use this setup to get cinematic shots.
My shots at the end of this video are entirely shot on the iPhone 7 and graded with my Cine LUT in Premiere Pro.

Any tips and ideas you want to share?Put them in the comments to help each other!
